Since you're still using Windows 7, you can only try to run the game in DX11 mode. Just edit the shortcut like on the attached screenshot. If that doesn't work, it's time to upgrade to a modern and supported Windows version!

Everspace 2 has been migrated to Unreal Engine 5, which doesn't have support for the ancient Windows 7.
