Hi all
Hoping for some advice on this topic as I'm not tech smart.
I'm finding the default button mapping for my controller to be a little clumsy and would like to change it. I am using a Turtle Beach Recon controller and it has two back buttons which would be ideal to be able to swap some functions around to be more comfortable. Problem is that Everspace won't recognize that my back buttons exist.
I've been looking at Win 10 to make sure that the controller is using the latest drivers and wotnot. But although I've been able to workout how to download a "control panel" for the device and update to it's latest "firmware", that it all this "control panel" seems to want to do. I'm used to seeing control panels for joysticks which allow me to calibrate and adjust buttons and functions, but I can't see how to do that here.
I didn't really want to have to use mouse and keyboard for this game, but am really not feeling the current setup for controller and if I'm going to have to swap to K&M, then I guess I'd rather do it now before I've got used to the controller.
any advice appreciated.
