This game interests me a whole lot and I might go for early access even. I'd like to hear from people who have tried it how the game runs on different computer specifications before I take my chances and make this my last purchase for 2016 (yeah right).

Not looking for a scientific analysis, just your general feelings, anecdotal experiences. I'm specifically on an AMD APU so if anyone out there is running the game on such a system I'd love to hear about it.

But it's in-dev state, why not purchase and try it? If you don't like it by any reason, just get a refund within 14 days.
i tried everspace on a b960 2.26ghz cpu laptop with integrated graphics. the b960 is a stripped down version of the i3 cpu. it was too slow. unplayable.

next try 3ghz i5 cpu laptop with integrated graphics. set game on medium graphics, but it will play higher. the visuals are a little dark, but perfectly playable.

next try 3ghz xeon cpu desktop with 750ti sc graphics. set game on elite graphics, 1920x1080, 60fps. game runs very well. good, clear graphics.

next try 2.4ghz i7 cpu laptop with 1070 gtx graphics. set game on elite graphics. game runs very well. good, clear graphics.

i normally use the xeon desktop for gaming and am upgrading the graphics to a 1060 gtx. i like the lower power graphics cards since i don't want to overload my psu.
I'm playing this on a Q9300 (previously a Q6600) with 3 gigs of ram and a legacy IceQ HD5670 (1GB DDR5 w/ Eyefinity).

Playing on lower resolutions with most things cut down I get pretty decent frames. I play on WXGA (1366x768) with everything on low except anti-aliasing because it gets rid of that shine flicker on the edges of rocks, especially the shiny blue gas ones. UE4 is just a really demanding engine.

EDIT: Even if I put everything on Epic settings, if I lower the rez to 800x600, I get like 45 frames or so. Incredible.

Thanks for your input, especially 'mmkk' for going to such great lengths to test the game on different systems.

Everspace remains on my wish list for sure.
Memory: Used/Total: 2874.1/5165.3MB
Array-1 capacity: 8 GB (est) devices: 2 EC: None
Device-1: Bottom-Slot 1 (left) size: 2 GB speed: 667 MT/s type: DDR3
Device-2: Bottom-Slot 2 (right) size: 4 GB speed: 667 MT/s type: DDR3

Everspace uses all of this. I am thinking of getting my money back but I thought i would check here first. I use Peppermint Linux, as basic end user distros go, I might not get any lighter weight than Peppermint.
