Can anyone tell me if this version of Europa Universalis includes the music?

The version I have from Gamersgate does not include the CD music. The only way to get it to work is by having an original copy of the CD-ROM in the drive.

The music adds much to an otherwise silent game.

There is music playing for sure on the worldmap. I think it fits well with the timeline too.

darkangelz: There is music playing for sure on the worldmap. I think it fits well with the timeline too.

That's great to hear! The Gamersgate version is as silent as the tomb on the worldmap.

how did you get music to play I bought this game and there is no music playing the music folder just shows track02 sound effects work even though the sound effects are loud I turn the effects off and the effects are still on and loud witch gets annoying when wearing head phones any help would be nice

Most games work on Windows 10 - they just need a huge amount of convincing.
What options of the Windows 10 compatibility mode did you already try?
