Hi guys, I'm not sure if it's the right place to ask for a help. You see I don't own GOG version of Etherlords, but I do have one from the time it was in normal retail. Since I couldn't find answers I figured that I'll ask here. The problem is that anytime there is a closup of unit striking other unit or hero the ground texture around the units becomes white and unit models (those participating in said attack and defense) become corrupted. I use gforce 260GTX with newest drivers and win xp sp3. I already tried lowering texture quality and turning off shadows but to no avail. If anyone can come up with a solution for it I will be grateful. Otherwise a confirmation that GOG version doesn't have this problem while running on newer graphical cards and newest drivers will propably make me buy it.

Probably not much help, but I can testify that the GOG version of Etherlords works fine on my system. However, it is a Windows 7 64-bit system with ATI 5670 with the newest drivers. Not particularly similar to yours, I'm afraid ;^)

Great game, BTW (if you survive the grueling 3rd and 4th missions...)
