I recently upgraded to Win7 with all the possible compatability options, but now I can't get the Etherlords 2 installer to properly run. It will start, and then stay stuck after the directory path and before the actual install bar shows. Is this a common issue, and if so is there any way to resolve it?

Are you using Galaxy? It may solve your problem <I understand that you don' use it>, because it downloads compressed game files so there is no instalation in the matter of speaking...
I understand that you already tried redownload it?

I did redownload, but it was the backup copy, as I am used to using those. Are you saying that running via Galaxy should allow me to play? I'll try it

Not quite - I'm saying you should download the game (not the instaler) via Galaxy. After it's completed you can play it with or without Galaxy - it's not required to play any of it's game, decision about it up to user.
I'm recommending the Galaxy because, as I said higher, it downloads compressed game files, so if there is a problem with the instaler itself that should solve it. If not - I think it would be good to contact Tech. Support here on GOG.
Oh, one more thing - it's may be a silly question, but better ask than be sorry - you are running the instaletion as administrator? I doubt it would block the instalation, but who knows...

Hey, it works now awesome thanks very much. The galaxy install seems to have done the trick. Much appreciated
