I apologize for misusing the Etherlords forum - is there an active forum for Etherlords 2?

The issue is how to run E2 under Vista. I know it's Starforce, and I have tried their update and removal tools already. If you remove the Starforce drivers, E2 simply reinstalls those drivers at the next start. Updating doesn't change anything.
I know there are cracks available, and I could use an old XP PC or VirtualPC, but I'd prefer to play the original E2 in my Vista environment.

To my knowledge there are only forums for games already released...
I'm afraid, you won't be successful with your attempts, because I couldn't get my disc-version of Etherlords 2 running on Vista, too :-(

So, please GOG, also release the second part :-D
StarForce is one of the greatest evil of modern time. It has killed so much nerve cells, that you could make of them a little big city of brand new human beings.

Like was written in "Hacker" magazine: it's clear that StarForce is made by people who practice hacking, but using hacks and non-documented features for large audience products - is a very very bad manner of programming. Being short: StarForce creators have ass-grown hands and let them burn in hell with managers who selected this stuff for protecting CDs.
