On boot my mouse cursor appears in the center of the screen and appears to be registering movement, but snaps immediately back to center. I can't see any sort of in-game cursor and no interaction is possible. Is there a way to resolve this?

EDIT: I eventually found out that I am a fool and there is no cursor. My cursor being in the middle of the screen was a visual glitch, and I had expected a cursor because I thought this was a point-and-click. One blank cursor later and all is well.
