Burning Sands Outpost, room whit the two dimensional eyes - there's a lever @ x:46, y: 125.

Is it supposed to open/do something ?

I got a script error from casting a fire dart on it.

Yes, pulling the lever tells you that you hear grinding stone, the message you get when something opens somewhere.

The lever opens the gate at x:31, y:95.

(it also, incidentally, releases those two dimensional eyes.)
The lever is at the back of the room with the columns where the dimensional eyes move around in, i didn't touch the lever untill after i had already dispatched them.

Edit: Wait, i just rembembered i left the Outpost at some point for some reason so it's likely i did touched the lever, rushed pass the eyes, and then returned.

Thanks mate, not knowing what the lever was about it's just the kind of thing that would drive me absolutely crazy ;)

You can activate levers from a distance by casting certain spells on them, or attacking them with bows/missiles. This is useful elsewhere in the game.

Those eyes don't appear until AFTER the lever has been activated so the fact that they are there means you MUST have activated the lever somehow.
