I just recently started playing this; created a character just to see what it was like, then decided to start over once I had the hang of things.

But now I'm getting no map showing in my map screen. I can click to get fast travel, but as I wander around nothing shows up on the map. Am I just forgetting something? I don't know if it's a glitch, or related to a skill, or if there's something you have to find first. I do have the map of the whole continent, but that doesn't help.
