Hi guys,

just wondering if someone knows if we can make our own notes/comments on the map in the game. this is something i would love to do and always influences my buying decision.

There doesn't seem to be any way to do it unfortunately as clicking on the map brings up the fast travel menu and there is no other mention of it in the manual or game. Don't let that stop you though, I am a couple of hours in and loving it. The phrase 'Ultima style' is used a lot but this game really does have a similar look and atmosphere to the Ultima games and I am loving it :)

yeah i would have bought it this instant if it had map note taking. i LOVE those. last modern game i can think of that allowed this was grimrock (any other??)

so yeah, ill problably watch some lets plays etc. because you're right, it DOES look interesting.

Hey Michagogi23, Just wanted to let you know that there are playable demos on the game dev's website. Also I use pen and paper help with any crucial notes I may need for later. cheers

Like Initlds said it is a good idea to get a notebook to write down details for extra immersion and you could also use this to add notes regarding the maps as each area has its own map. All the major quests are recorded automatically but there is plenty of other stuff to write down which will be beneficial. I enjoy doing it anyway and still have notebooks for each of the Ultima games I played when I was about 13 years old (22 years ago, wowsers!).

I am now 12 hours in and haven't enjoyed a game this much literally for years :)
