Hello! When I open Eschalon Book I, the little start menu pops up, I click "Start," then I can hear music and crickets and birds, but there are zero visuals. Not a blank or black screen, nothing. It stays on my desktop, I can open windows and do whatever, but I can hear the game running. Anyone have any ideas?

I've had that happen with games after an alt tab but not as you describe. In my case, I had to go to "control panel" where it would say, "not responding" and shut down the game then reload it. Probably won't work in this instance, I'd guess but it's all I could think of.
In the options menu try setting the graphics to open gl. if that doesn't fix it not sure maybe a re-install.
Thanks, y'all, I'll try the re-install. It didnt take that long.

edit: Still nothing. I changed the graphics to OpenGL, fiddled with the other options, yada, yada, yada. The music is playing as I write this; when I go into the task manager, it shows it running, but I just can't see it. Man, I'm glad this was free! It's a bummer, though, because I want to try it out...

edit 2: electric boogaloo: Got it. I started it in "Windowed" mode. Coulda swore I had tried that already... Anyway, Thanks for the help, fellas and fellettes!

The window for the game is awful small; is there a way to resize it? Also, when I start it in fullscreen mode, I just realized it runs as a background application. Any way to change that, so I can run full screen?
