There are three pieces of DLC for the game on Steam, but none of them are on GOG. Why not? Can we expect them to ever show up here? There's also some sort of Walking Dead Escapists spin-off game. Will that be coming here?

I contacted team 17 and was told they had no official plans to release any DLC for the GOG version of the game. I then asked for a steam key as they don't intend to provide the same level of support to GOG customers as their steam customers despite charging the same and received no reply.

This was not a legacy title, i feel GOG should not allow new products to be sold if the publisher/developer is not prepared to support the title equally regardless of place of purchase.

That's messed up. I'm glad you were able to get an answer though. Thanks!
Good news! In the thread I made about this, JudasIscariot has now confirmed that GOG will be getting the DLC as soon as possible.
Wow that thread gained some traction. I contacted help@team17support.com back in April.
I wrote a review titled "DLCs only available for Steam users" for the game.
Unfortunately I cold not edit or delete the review.
If it was I wold have done so the statement is apparently false.

I asked JudasIscariot to delete it for me and he said sure.

I am sorry for the fact that I did bring false information on the front-page for the game an am hereby apologizing.

Nothing false in my statement and is the response I received from the publisher in July and was correct at the time I gave my reply.

That said to date we still don't have the DLC despite the publisher being able to make the effort to release the newer product Walking Dead Escapists.

Fact is that JudasIscariot did state "The various DLC for The Escapists will be here for the GOG version as soon as possible. That is all."

Now in my review I did state that the DLC's wold newer come here. Also I did point to this thread. With the statement from JudasIscariot I felt that I might have given false information in that review.

If I cold have edit the review. I wold have added to the review that JudasIscariot have stated that we wold get the DLC's here on GOG. But also I wold have stated that I wold see the DLC's here before I believed in it. I think They should have been here a long time ago.

Well I did buy the game under last sale of it, then realized that it was incomplete and apparently never cold be complete, with all content. So I got pissed and wrote a review that I should not have. It was not a proper review describing the game, It was just a statement saying the DLC's was never planed to get here and a copy of the description of the missing DLC's taken from the steam store.

I do believe in you, in fact much more than in JudasIscariot's statement. I want so see the DLC's here before I believe it.
