I was surprised to see that the GOG version of EG2 does not include a level editor. The Steam version does feature a level editor. Looking at the game's news page on Steam, it seems that version 1.1.4 was released way back in 2015, while the GOG release is only at 1.1.0.

I see no reason why GOG customers would not receive the latest version. I hope this is simply an oversight?

That is a really good point! With that update came also some bug fixes:

"Teleport death glitch fixed (squishing more forgiving in general)"
"Teleport can be buffered during dash or other "stun" animation"
"Toragos behavior fixes"
etc.

It would be nice to have these fixes. Unfortunately GOG customers here are second-class customers...
