I don't quite understand how equipment works. Does equipment which gives me no modifiers actually help me? In other words, does armor with no buffs benefit me? The same with weapons; do weapons with no modifiers help me?

Hi bolero3232!

Currently, equipment adds bonus effects to only social, mind, combat, and survival power traits. At the moment, weapons or armor without any sort of modifier don't have a direct impact on character power, but were implemented at this early stage because of how closely tied to the narrative of the game they are. Moving forward, we're working on improving the visible significance and usefulness of these items, and making sure players feel a lot more strategic about equipping this or that.
