Because of the half off sale price I decided to do some research on this game to see if it would run at all on my integrated graphics chip.
In the process of googling to see if anyone had run it on my specific chip (or possibly a weaker one) I came across the steam listed system requirements.
They are significantly lower than what GOG lists.
GOG:
Minimum system requirements - Windows: 7 / 8 / 10
Processor: 2.0GHz i5 or better
Memory: 4GB RAM
Hard drive space: 600 MB
Graphics: 1 GB of Video RAM
Steam store page:
OS: Windows 7 or later
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6320 (2*1866) or equivalent
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: GeForce 7600 GS (512 MB) or equivalent
Storage: 2 GB available space
Half the ram, half the V-ram.
Whats going on with this? and which are the actual dev supplied requirements?
Its important to me since somthing wanting 4gig + 1 gig vram probably isn't going to run on this craptop, but something wanting 2 gig + 512MB might (depending on the how that specific card rates compared to my integrated chip, something I could find out with enough research.)
(If anyone is curious my chip is an intel HD4000)
