The games assigns collective to Z axis, whereas it should be the slider.

Anyway I can get around this.

Thanks.

In case your question is still open (which I somewhat doubt, but whatever):

What Joystick setup are you using? Usually it's quite easily possible to simply assign the various axes in the options menu - just click often enough on the selection field until the axis you want to assign pops up.

The only thing I found a bit weird was that the axes' names were not what I intuitively expected them to be, so I ended up controlling the in-game pedals with my throttle. But once you figure out what your hardware axis are called in the menu you're already there.

Cheers!
Im having the same issue. I'm flying unmodded, and I just don't know why the game is doing this. It assigns my JOYSTICK to looking around the cockpit, and not the Hat switch. Its more then a little irritating.

I can click all I want, no other options appear. Is there some way to configure it out of game?

*EDIT* Problem solved! I thought I was clicking, but apparently not. Noob moment.
