I've played Apache Havoc a long time ago, and started playing the game again under Comanche Hokum with the community patch. I used to know the controls back in the days, but now since I'm playing on a laptop I can't control my radar anymore.
The problem is that my laptop has a seperate insert and delete key, which now I have to use with the Fn (function) key in order to activate my ground radar or flir. However, my laptop doesn't have a specific home, pgup, end or pgdn key. Rather, these keys are under 1,3,7,9 on the numpad, usually accessed back and forth with the num-lock key. However, in-game it seems I can't access these keys by putting on num-lock, which usually works in things like word and such, to use home/end... So I can't activate my aerial radar or my other tracking sights because of this laptop problem.
Does anyone have any ideas how I could solve this? Is there a way to rebind the keys used in-game?

Does the game have any config or ini files in the games folder?

Yes, but no config for buttons it seems. I think they are hardwired into the game?
I am having the same problem - I am sure there is a utility that lets you bind the keys that you can run in windows (not in the game itself) - I am going to do some looking online now - I will let you know if I find a solution

Hey again - I found a solution - Try a program called Key Tweak - The URl is: http://webpages.charter.net/krumsick/ I am not 100% sure if I am allowed to include a URL so if it doesnt work then google key tweak - Remember though that this program will bind the key in Windows so the key will be bound in all programs run on your PC not just Enemy Engaged - I bound mine to the Pause/break Key as I dont use that key in anything. Hope this Helps

If I may make a suggestion, use AutoHotKeys instead. The changes that AutoHotKeys makes are not permanent (easily disabled by unloading it) and you don't need any reboots. It's a bit tricky to get to work under Windows 7, but it's possible.
