When I click on any mission or campaign, I get a beautiful splash screen showing the two choppers, but the actual game does not start, no matter how long I wait. The screen isn't frozen; I can move the mouse and go back to the menu at any time. It will also launch the demo, just not a mission or campaign.

I'm running the latest version of Win 7, 64; 6G RAM. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks for looking!

UPDATE: The "problem" has been solved. Turns out my ex-wife was right: I'm a dumbass.

Try the following:

Don't install the game in %:\Program Files% and run as admin.

I did both on the initial install. :(
I appreciate you helping, though...thanks!!
No problem.

Since it runs in demomode is probably isn't something hardware related and I don't know anything else than to try different compatibility modes.
I think it's best to bug support with your problem

My thought was that the game launches another executable for the actual missions, but I haven't actually checked the directory yet. Thanks again; I'll try the different compatibility modes and throw it to tech support if that doesn't work.
Update, after finally sending this off to support:

Hello
Please clarify, are you unable to select the chopper to fly by clicking the its name on the blue/red screen?

Good grief. I thought it was just a splash screen, not a selection screen! That's done it. I'm feeling pretty stupid, but I'm glad it was an easy "fix." :)

Thanks so much!

Case closed. Now I'm going to go hang my head in shame for a while. :P
