Recently I played a littile with classic chopper sims (LHX and GS2000) and thought, it might be good to get something newer. But a question - is it possible to play Enemy Engaged series only with mouse and keyboard? Or joy is a "must-have"?

Yes, you can play it on keyboard, but it is much better to play it with joystick.
