I love the game.
Water carriers
I'm no sure if they are carrying it to the cistern or they are delivering it to the house, or both. If to the houses only, then I think it should be reworded so that each house sends out their own person to get water. If to the cistern only, then I think the water carrier should be assigned from there. If both, then no change.
Day/Night/Seasons
I love that there is a day/night cycle. I've notice that one cycle counts as a season? Are you planning on adding seasons? I think it would look really pretty with a winter backdrop, and then have the radiation slow way down, and then in the spring the thaw makes the radiation act up. As long as it's not too much it could be an interesting mechanic.
Lighting
Another thing about the night time is that it is way too dark and apparently making torches (not flashlights), is lost tech? Houses should light up at night.
Rest/Productions
Since night time happens I think it would be nice if the game at least pretending the survivors went to bed at night. Or it could do like Frostpunk and have the people congregate at pubs, bathouses. the campfire or whatever for a while and then go off to their homes for rest. Now I know this would cut into the 24/7 work schedule the game has going. So to simulate them going to bed but keep producing stuff, the game could just turn off the settler sprites...
Settings/Tooltips
Def. need to be able to change keybindings. but for the map generator settings I think it would be helpful if there could be a heading/tooltip for the mountains/lakes/ruins/forests
I've run a few different maps and it seems to me like the sliders also affect how much scrap/food/water/wood and so on the map contains at each node. I had a map with low ruins and one with high ruins and both had the same amount of junk strewn about.
