Anyone else having an issue with the game updating in Galaxy?

The update keeps failing for me, and I'm not sure what else to do. Not sure what info to post here. Not having problems with other games updating.

Any suggestions or insights?

I have the same thing happening (Win11). I ended up looking in the game folder and found a folder named "!Temp" that had a "plugins" folder inside. I just coped that plugins folder into the main game folder (which did not have a plugins folder before) and then I was able to see the plugin listed in the game (hit ESC, Preferences, then Plugins on the left side - you can also access Preferences when you first load the game).

You can also copy/paste the endless-sky-high-dpi folder into the %APPDATA%\endless-sky\plugins folder (this folder did exist on my system, but was empty) to install it as a plugin. The %APPDATA% part will automatically expand to the location of the application data folder on your computer. The details are here:
https://github.com/endless-sky/endless-sky/wiki/CreatingPlugins

GOG Galaxy still tries and fails to install the plugin, even after you do it manually - I haven't figured out how to get it to stop doing that, but the high-dpi graphics are used when you play the game (if you set the zoom factor > 100% or it detects that you have a high DPI monitor)

Could you try uninstalling Endless Sky and then reinstalling it?

I just installed GOG Galaxy 2 for the first time and it was able to install Endless SKy 0.10.10 (and the high DPI plugin) just fine, and I was able to switch to the beta channel, and it updated to 0.10.11 correctly as well.

You should be able to disable the high DPI plugin from installing by right-clicking Endless Sky in the "installed" page, go to the "manage" submenu and click "configure". The window that pups-up should have a "DLC" header that you can click and then you should be able to uncheck the high DPI plugin.
