Hi! Can you please publish an update possibility to buy the Save The World Edition cheaper (for the own account only, obviously) if one has the Standard Edition?

As the game was in the Humble Choice this month, many people who got it there will probably like to get the artwork, soundtrack, etc. for less than the full game price.

I also got the game on Humble Choice, and I'd like to get the deluxe contents as well, but I wouldn't want to buy the whole game again for that.

Would it be possible to publish a DLC that works as an upgrade to the Save The World Edition?

I contacted the publisher on Facebook and this is what they replied:

Thanks for doing this. Otherwise this is textbook lose-lose, bad move on the publisher's part to lock people out of a version that nobody will now buy.

So what is the status on this?

Last time I checked where I contacted then, Facebook, was the last time I had checked the site. Just checked, and no new replies yet.
Also, I did a quick check on the game's forum on Steam and I didn't see anything worth noting.

... which is a damn shame since the game is currently available with a good discount, but I'm not gonna buy since the Save The World edition is not discounted at all.

I'm hoping for the same thing. Bought the Standard Edition half a year ago and would love to buy an upgrade to the Save the World Edition :)

I'm sorry to say "don't get your hopes up" because the publisher has several games now with a "Save the World" edition which they claim they can't make the DLC available for. They've claimed on Leisure Suit Larry that "it's too difficult" and some other excuses. I remember reading some negative responses for Encodya on the Steam forums.

As you can see in the screenshots I took from both Wet Dreams Dry Twice and Encodya, the publishers refuses to "devalue" their precious expensive versions. Many people over at Steam were quite upset their copies from Humble didn't come with the proper keys and Assemble just sorta shrugged and said "oh well".
