I am the hudfreegamer. As such, I figure out how to disable the hud in as many games as I can.



To disable hud in the game Enclave, open Enclave\Sbz1\registry\TplCharacters.xrg

Open with Notepad or other text editor.

At the top you will see:

*template_char
{
*classname character


Add the following under *classname character:

*flags nohud


Save the file, load the game, and the hud will be gone.



With no hud, you will not know how much gold you have collected during a level. You will also not be able to tell when you need to drink a health potion. This makes the game more challenging, which can either be a good or bad thing depending on your point of view.

(I foresee this ending in some rather unexpected deaths as well as increased potion consumption)

Lol, interesting philosophy. Last time I fully deactivated the HUD because a game wasn't challenging/immersive enough while it's on was in Delta-Force: Black Hawk Down. I would only switch it on for a second when this was necessary to know where to go / what to do. Don't feel this urge in case of Enclave but thanks for this information anyway. :D
