This looks cool, and I mean really cool. I hope it's a reasonable price, because then I wont hesitate to instantly throw my money at it and buy it as quickly as possible and play it and enjoy it like crazy. If it's good, I'm going to proceed to recommend it to everyone who asks me for help in looking for a good game. If this is just a fair buy, and the game is awesome, word of mouth is going to spread this like wildfire. This will probably even top UnderRail.

I also hope that there is a modding community outside of steam. Steam is a nightmare for Gog game owners because more often than not, it's pretty much impossible to download mods from the steam workshop unless you both have a steam account AND own the game on steam... Many Gog users often never have access to any mods because of the modding community being hard-locked into steam workshop.

I really hope that this game (if any mods were to even be a part of the game) has a modding community situated on a website where anyone can have easy access to any and all mods for the game, and be able to download them without creating an account. I can understand accounts being necessary for uploading a mod that many others will download, but for someone who is only looking to download a mod that someone else already made, I don't want to create an account. Moddb is a decent example of this style of modding community. Just go to the mods, click to download, instantly go to play the game. easy and simple.

It doesn't have to be moddb, but if it is, I would be happy about that. modding communities like nexus drive me insane because users are blocked from downloading mods unless the make an account first... makes no sense and just creates an extra step of inconvenience.

Anyway, this game is a total shock and surprise to me. I'm extremely hyped about it and I don't know how to contain myself. Should I just spazz out and drop on the floor kicking and screaming with hype? Or should I just make 200 smoothies for no reason? Where do I put this energy of pure excitement?

Thanks for letting me know, I really appreciate that.
Unfortunately, I have had a very significant change of heart since the game has released. I feel that the gameplay I have observed from other players is far different from my first impressions. Additionally, the visual style of the game seems like it went in a different direction than what I also got from my first impressions. I'm really sad about it. It's bound to be a great game, but it's just not my type of game. I Thought that it would be, but I'm very surprised about how I feel about the game now. I guess that I just thought it was going to be something else based on what I had seen before it release, hence the severe levels of hype I was experiencing, but now that I've seen more I'm just like "oh..."

I wish great success for the devs, but I think I must politely excuse myself.

Maybe. MAYBE... in a very long time, I'm talking like over 5 years from now, maybe 10, maybe I will check back on how the game is doing, and what it's like after more has been changed and added. It seemed really good for me, but now it's just something else that doesn't really feel right. I can't force myself to like it right? I can't emphasize how sad I am that it didn't end up being what it had made itself seem it was going for, but that was always up for interpretation as is any game before launch.

Anyways, I hope everyone else really enjoys this cool game, it's just not what I wanted to get out of it. Have a good day. :(

Going to give the game back. Tried it and was surprised how "early access" it is. As said, almost nothing is available and done. Companies tend to overstretch term early access this days more and more. The risk of development is shouldered on people, because money is taked ahead of time... When someone is giving early access I accept a somewhat playable game, otherwise there is no reason for me to take a glance at it early. 85% not complete is not something to glance at...

Now we will answer the biggest question posed by community: "What can we expect in Early Access?"

Early Access will include a section of the game's main plot relating the events leading up to and during the Incident.
After the prologue, you will have access to some parts of the open world, where you can explore and discover how life under the Dome changed after the disaster.
Portions of the desert beneath the Dome will be obscured as anomalous zones, and temporarily inaccessible. But don't worry, regular content updates will gradually open up new sectors of the Dome for you to explore.
The open world has a life of its own. Traveling through the desert, you'll meet wandering traders, bandits, wild animals, the Forefathers' machines and anomaly mazes. Sometimes you’ll encounter unique events leading to a quest or acquainting you with one of the Dome’s factions.
The Early Access release will include about 40 weapons. In addition, Encased lets players craft their own weapons, which can lead to more than 100 deadly devices in total!

Before the release on GOG I knew nothing about the game and since it's In Dev release with 14 days refund policy I just grabbed it to see how it plays. Well, to be honest at the moment I don't care how much of promised content is there, be it 15% or 85%, but the atmosphere is so great, it feels so Fallout-ish, I just keep my copy of the game to support the devs.

There're a lot of bugs indeed, but we all knew it was possible since it's In Dev version and if you're not happy, just get a refund. The game is great, the policy is fair.

This is true, if the industry would not abuse trust. The trust is gone for me long ago. Only get into in-dev, when there is already some value in the game. If one part of the industry is less predatory and is annoyed by others killing this way of develeopment and funding, by abusing it, they might get together and make some lobbying on the politics to put in laws and regulation that sets boundaries for the bullshiting currently going on in the gaming industry.

While I don`t know anything special about YOUR company, I am not willing to take the risk that maybe you are going to hold up to the expectations. But I will keep following the development. The game seems interessting.
