I am so tired of getting game updates well after the Steam release. Look devs, I get that the vast majority of your customers have the Steam version of the game, but you DID choose to sell it on GOG as well and those of us who bought it here don't appreciate being treated like second class citizens. Every time this garbage happens I have to wonder if an "In Development" game is going to end up like Wolcen. The Wolcen devs also released patches for their GOG version later and later over the course of time and then stealthily stopped patching the game altogether, leaving everyone who bought in stuck with either an unfinished game or requesting a refund that I assume GOG had to eat the cost for. GOG is the preferred platform for many gamers and I think the platform and its customers deserve a little more respect.

Patches are generally submitted to GOG at the same time as at Steam (there have been a few instances where the dev did not bother to submit to GOG at all thouth). The difference is that at Steam, the update goes up immediately and with no verification whatsoever. GOG has standards that get their own devs to check the things before they are put up. This process puts up the Galaxy version very quickly. And the offline versions go through additional checks and are put up some business days after the Galaxy version. If the offline version gets forgotten for a week or so, then do a support ticket and likely they will put up the patch in a day or two.

Bitching in the forum accomplishes nothing.
And yet I reserve the right to bitch. I have more than one game in my GOG library that NEVER achieved patch parity with the Steam version and I am sick of it. I don't give a damn if it's on the devs or GOG, this crap should end. I get that it takes more time to get the non launcher patch and I allow for that by using Galaxy. There is NO excuse to not have patch parity between platforms and as I previously stated, such laxity can lead to situations like Wolcen where a dev just decides to stop patching a game because they didn't sell enough on GOG to bother continuing to support the game. People with attitudes like yours just enables their bad behavior. And by the way, your bitching about my bitching accomplishes nothing. Have a great day.

SugeBearX: People with attitudes like yours...
Well I hope that my attitude is a helpful one. Where I try to inform people of things that they apparently do not know. If I did not help you then I'm sorry for that.

Hello! Sorry for the late reply. I understand why you so mad. It really sucks when you get updates after steam users. But it's not because we do not respect the GOG community, all users very important for us on all platforms. We do our best to release updates for GOG as fast as possible, and in most cases, the difference between GOG and Steam updates 2 hours

I wonder if you've realized (many developers do not) that when you release an update on Friday, then on GOG that means a reduced staff will work on it (if anyone works on it at all till Monday)? This *always* results in the offline patches being delayed an extra 2-3 days. Sometimes you have better luck with the Galaxy version and they get it done right away.

Thanks for the advice. We will try to take all the measures that GOG users get updates at the time with Steam users.
