Hello everyone, I just purchased this game and followed the instructions for installation.

However upon launch the game tells me I have a invalid CD key and that I should re-enter it. I have no idea what the CD key is . . . has anyone else had this issue? or knows how to resolve it?

Click "More>Manage Installation>Verify Game

Try this, it worked for me:
-If you get an error message concerning an invalid GameSpy Key, go to regedit, and under Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SSSI\Empires
-find the file "GameSpy Key".
-Change ONE number to another one.
-Restart your computer
-No more problem
