I've just had a mission that requested that I "get Julius Caesar over to Rome and deliver x ammount of resources to some Crassius muppet within 15 minutes"

Well I gather all the necessary resources and sailed JC over to Rome, only to find JC saying "sorry Crassius but I ain't got your shit, go stick it up yo ass!" or other such Shakespearean words to such effect! :D

Why? I had the resources collected. There was something about "loading these resources on transports" but how? How you do that? These resources are just a number at the bottom of the screen! There's no options to move them or dump them or stick them in a boat or wherever else the sun don't shine!

At least the above was just a tertiary objective and it didn't really matter that Crassius was left without his wood. The only consequence was he had to cope without his "Biggus Dickus"!
But the next scenario has me having to "bribe towns" to secure their allegancies!
The first town was "Ravenna"
But how? How do I "bribe Ravenna"! I used the tribute function to give the necessary shit as a bribe, but there was NO "Ravenna" side, the only other two sides that both had the "dark blue" colour, that seemed relevant just took the resources and nothing happened!

How do I "bribe Ravenna" then eh?

Any help guys? When you stop having a "little giggle" over the name "Bigg-us a Dick-us"

Centuwion! Stwike him! Vewy Woughly!!!!!

Hey man,

I know I'm 5 years late but I'm playing the campaign for the first time and wanted to answer your question for anyone else who has it: https://streamable.com/bzh3rc

Gather the required resources (100 Food, 100 Wood, 100 Iron for example) then bring Caesar to the Roman Senator at each town and click on the Roman Senator. The Roman Senator should disappear and the town then comes under Caesar's control!

I was stuck just like you so I saved the game, copied the file from /Data/Saved Games to /Data/Scenarios and changed the file extension from .ees to .scn

I was then able to open the scenario in the Scenario Editor and investigate the Triggers to see what actually had to happen. Never would've guessed bringing Caesar to the Roman Senator and simply clicking on him haha

I'm sure you no longer need this info but figured I'd share anyway.
Cheers

5 years late is still better than never! That's a good trick there, changing the file extension so you can use the editor to cheat....... of course I've long since left EE1 behind, though this could be useful to others!

Marked it as solution! U get 5 rep points for that! :D

Cheers!
