The cheats in Empire Earth wont work! I check cheats in the game settings but they still don't work! HELP!

I got them to work in the GOG version, all you do is hit enter type the cheat and hit enter again, I assume that you did this though also there is no cheat activated text on screen it just puts up there the cheat you entered. SPOILER enter "my name is methos" without quotes and you should see your resources increase to 10000

i cant get them to work in campaign mode

tried those didnt work wouldnt open
