I loved EE1. I liked EE2 quite a lot. EE3 is a disgrace to the series, and one of the absolute worst strategy games ever developed, comparable only to the horrible Seven Kingdoms: Conquest.
Where the previous games were deep, strategic and entertaining, while perhaps a bit slow, EE3 strips out every bit of complexity and strategy, likely in an effort to appeal to the casual crowd from the console scene, who can't handle more than 3 buttons - but I'm fairly certain even those will be thrown off by this steaming pile of feces. Do NOT waste your money.
