Hey Guys,

I'm pretty new to the community so I apologize if this has been beat to death. Bought and downloaded Empire Earth recently. Somehow I never got into it growing up. Not sure how that happened. Was really looking forward to getting into it. Sounds like graphical problems are a pretty common occurrence with this game. I've tried a bunch of different stuff like messing with settings and downloading patches. Can't seem to get a fix. Graphic bugs look like the ones on Dr. Mona Lisa's page here...

Hey. Have you tried the SOLUTION 6 from that topic? ( http://forum.ee2.eu/t1707-ee1-empire-earth-and-empire-earth-the-art-of-conquest-windows-8-8-1-fix ).
Please note that SOLUTION 6 doesn't work if you have the NeoEE patch installed, so you would need to reinstall the game, and just try SOLUTION 6.

Thanks for the quick reply. Life has been crazy so I just barely got to try out your solution. I made it all the way to the point of finding/running an exe. file and ran into problems. I can't seem to either find or run the right one. Does it matter if the game is a download?

It shouldn't matter what version you use. Basically, "SOLUTION 6" is launching the game with 3d-Analyzer, which emulates a different graphics card and should fix game problems (of course if the graphics drivers are the problem). I think you should run "Empire Earth.exe" with 3d-Analyzer (or "EE-AOC.exe") for the expansion pack.

Ok. That helped, but now when I try to run empire earth.exe it says CreateProcess Fail, error while injecting dll target process.

Have you launched 3d-Analyzer as administrator?

Running 3d-Analyzer as administrator got me passed the error codes, but now when I try to play a scenario the game locks up so hard I have to restart my computer to get it to go away. This happens on the loading screen before it even gets to the game so I'm not sure if it's fixed the graphics problem or not. I'm guessing not because there are a couple of boxes that like to twitch and blink when the game is getting ready to freak out and they were still twitching and blinking before I hit the play game button.

Well, it works on some graphics cards, on some it doesn't. I know that Intel HD has a lot of problems with older games :/

What I would like to recommend is... trying Empire Earth 2 instead. With my Unofficial Patch it's compatible with all Windows versions. I know it's not a solution, but so far I didn't see anyone giving the universal solution for problems with EE1...
