When you install Neo-EE It put's a Trojan on your pc. Alot of the anti-Virus Softwares seem to also say it's harmful. Has anyone else noticed this, and what do you guys else think?

Game executable:

NeoEE DLL:

NeoEE installer itself:

The installer detections look funny.
In my opinion the software which NeoEE developers used to create the installer - was abused by other people. For example somebody created a malicious program and used the same installer creator program as NeoEE. After that Antivirus programs created definitions of this signature and in result are reporting all programs which used this installer creator program as Trojan. This is just my theory.
Another possibility is a "weird" (for Antiviruses) behavior of that installer. From what I know NeoEE generates an unique CD-KEY during installation. It connects to the neoEE Server, etc. You can find more information about it at their FAQ page: https://www.neoee.net/faq

So basically:
- Files after installation look safe.
- If you don't trust in it, then don't install it.
- You could try contacting neoEE developers directly by their forums: http://www.save-ee.com/index.php

I can tell that the NeoEE developer is a trustworthy person (I used to contact him, because I also develop Unofficial Patch for Empire Earth 2, so we discussed some things and even used the same features). So I personally wouldn't worry about those Antivirus alerts. But it ups to you.

Thanks for the input. The file Loader. something i forgot the part after the dot. It was just a trojan i think. It was in multiple parts of of my pc and when i got rid of it had no effected on EE or the mod. almost all the anti-virus programs saw it as bad. I fixed it though and now i don't have to worry about it any more.
18 AntiVirus Systems on VirusTotal still finds the neo-ee.msi suspicious...

Is there a way to patch the "suspicious" parts out of it?
