I just installed EE II and looked at the bottom of the screen where it says it's version 1.0.

I don't think I've ever heard of a game since the mid 1990's that didn't have at least one patch. What's up???

I thought GOG games were always the latest patched versions???

Have I been wrong on that this whole time?

ADDED IN EDIT: Oh, oops, I see I clicked on EE II The Art of Supremacy instead of EE II itself. EE II itself shows up as version 1.2, so I'm hoping that is the latest version.

But the Ar of Supremacy really had no patches?? Why is that a separate desktop icon anyway, are they separate standalone games??

Ugh, sorry about this, guess I should've read more before purchasing and playing and asking these questions. I'll try to find some answers in the documentation. If someone has some answers handy though, that would be cool. But I really should have read more first I guess.
