I haven't been able to find anyone that have the same problem as mine, and thus I cannot find any solution to this problem either.
So, I got Empire Earth recently, and almost immediately I ran into a major problem that made it unplayable. All the intro videos played flawlessly, and the menu is fully functional with zero graphical glitches. However, as soon as I enter any kind of gameplay, be it campaign, a random game, or the tutorial, things started to get weird.
The loading screen only appeared as a black screen, with the words below (Loading Complete and others) seem to overlap each other everytime it changes. The gameplay is just as bad. I'm able to select, control, and hear my units, but most of the screen is black, only the numbers showing resources and population, along with the age visible.
Now, I'm aware that several people had trouble with this game in Windows 7, or Windows 10. But I'm using a very old laptop with a 32 bit Windows XP. None of the compatibility settings, like running in Windows 2000 and below, setting it to 640x480 resolution, and disabling visual themes, worked. I'm not aware if a running as admin option exists. Some people fixed their graphical glitches by switching "Direct 3d" into "Direct 3D Hardware TnL" in the Game Settings, but that option didn't exist. Changing "Primary Display Driver" into "Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chips", which is the only other option, didn't help either.
I'm not good about Graphics knowledge, since it seems graphic is the main suspect. Can anyone help me?
P.S: Can someone help me in what format images have to be in order to attach to this post? I can provide some screenshots that way.
