I bought EE Gold today and it boots up fine. I play and beat the first level in the German campaign, but about a minute into the second the game locks up to where even Task Manager doesn't work and I have to manually shutdown my laptop. I try a custom game, with a custom civ and gigatic map, and the game freezes as soon as it is done loading. Again requiring a hard reset.

Please help. I need my Rise of Nations-esque fix!

Here is What I did to Fix it, Went to Game Settings --> Did Best Performance and Change the Resolution to one that has 32bit. Freezes Stopped
