cant change speed during empire earth game play, have a hp pavillion g series, dont know if its something to do with the + and - keys,but seem to work fine elsewhere. can anyone help?

I don't believe it's possible in-game. The only place I know to change the speed is the dropdown selection before you start a skirmish game. Otherwise, it has always been 1.50 speed for me (the number beside the time when you press F11).

It's +/- on the number pad to speed up & slow down, it's listed under Game Commands, page 222 of the PDF manual

yea, but for some reason the + and - are not doing anything. have owned the game previously on a different laptop and not had any trouble. would it be to do with the laptop or the download from gog?

I'm using the Gog version & it works for me, as the above poster said, have you checked number lock is on?

still haven't found what is wrong, if any one has any other ideas. have a feeling its something to do with the laptops key configuration, the + and - are with the = and _ key. (Used to play this game loads on old laptop with a cd version so I know how much changing speed is useful)

Have same problem. Game is set to high speed & unable to play. The GOG game worked on my desktop with a full 1999 keyboard but my laptop has NO separate number pad and NOo numlock function anywhere. I know there's a certain key combo which will do it but cant find it. This is for Empire Earth AOC.
