Hi,

Another question from me :)

Is Empire Earth 2 worth buying? I've spent hundreds of hours playing EE1 years ago, but never played EE2 or EE3. I can't find a single posititve review on EE3, so I guess I'll skip that game, but what about EE2? How is it compared to EE1?

Thanks

I'm curious about this as well. Loved the first game, not sure about the sequels. Not really an RTS fan, but the Age of Empire series is one of my all time favorites.
Most definitely. Empire Earth 2 is in many cases different than the first one (for example, world regions) but these ideas are well thought and the core of the game remains the same.

Empire Earth 2 is a great game for strategy fans.

But don't touch Empire Earth 3, because it's crap :P

My younger brother love simplified RTS game, such as C&C 4 which doesn't need to harvest lot of resources. Do you think EE3 is a good choice?

I think not. Ok, it's much more simple than EE1 or EE2, but it's a BAD game.
But my bad feelings about this title comes mostly from it's far worse than EE1 and 2 and i expected something different totally. But I don't know hardly any person who liked EE3.

If he likes more simplified RTS game no matter the setting, I would rather recommend Dragonshard (fantasy RTS game).

Dragonshard is similar to Battle for middle earth games (even more simple in management) and adds some RPG elements like exploring underground for treasures.

Simple answer; YES.

Longer answer: HECK YES.

Hi,

I've bought the game, but i've got one issue: I can't select widescreen resolutions (I can select them in EE1). Is there a fix for this?

See here: http://widescreengamingforum.com/dr/empire-earth-ii

You need to hack the game to get widescreen.
Hi,

That works fine, thanks. But what about the expansion pack? Is it possible to get that in widescreen too?
