I've been putting off getting into EE2 for quite a few years, superficially because it was a little intimidating with all the new additions and mechanics introduced over EE1.

But with the 1.5 update by Dr.MonaLisa (thanks!) working out bugs and also having played myself out of EE1 over the years, I decided to finally delve into the sequel. Not as intimidating as I originally thought, and has a lot of neat new ideas with concepts like the Citizen Manger, War Plans, Vassals (AoS) and such. Really enjoying it ex post facto!

Of course, EE1 will always have that special place in my heart, but there's room in my heart for EE2 as well :)
