Whenever I run any combination of map type, npc count, starting age, etc in the 'random map' mode, the map never generates properly. I end up staring at a completely explored but blank map (no resources, forests, units, towns, whatever. just blank) and the game ends with everyone having been "defeated". Happens both in EE1 and the expansion. I've tried running it in compatability modes and reinstalling, but no luck.

Any ideas?
