hit the shortcut screen goes black nothing happens says ee1 stoped working and wont play Windows 7

Same problem here, yep.
I only could manage to start ee1 directly after a reboot, else it always crashes before loading the intro videos.
I can't even kill the process in the task manager after it crashed, that is really weird, i only can reboot then.
Can't point it out what kills the game yet.
I am using windows 7 64-bit

It might be the screen resolution or try disabling your second monitor
