I'm on windows xp, and my graphics card is the Radeon X1600. After launching, the game loads fine and the first few developer/intro videos show, but once I get to where I assume the main menu is, my monitor's power button glows brighter, and on the screen it says, "Can't display this video mode." Any solutions out there? I've tried switching between 800 x 600 and 1280 x 1024 but it didn't change anthing.

Is it possible to go into the monitor OSD and look at the value the software wants the monitor to display? Some monitors can do that. If resolution is not the problem, maybe refresh rate is. What kind of monitor are you using? Standard TFT?
