I just got my CD Key for EE1 and AoC. Now I am at a dilemma, how exactly do I put it in? I sent this question to support but it took nearly 2 weeks to get my key and I dont want to wait that long if its something as simple as editing a config file

This is to reslove the CD Key Issue when playing with Direct Connect, Its only been tested with Empire Earth - The Art of Conquest

Goto C:\Program Files\GOG.com\Empire Earth Gold Edition\Empire Earth - The Art of Conquest

Open WONLobby.cfg with Notepad

Find the line that says "CDKeyCheck: true"

Change it to "CDKeyCheck: false"


Tested to work on to clients that had the CDKey conflict and changed that and it worked

When i try to change the cdkeycheck to false it says "access is denied" when i try to save it.

Hello I am having issues with Empire Earth 2 Gold Edition which I just downloaded. Whenever I click on Empire Earth 2 the Empire Earth 2 logo appears, and then just dissapears and nothing happens. Then if instead I click on Empire Earth 2 the Art of Suppremassy this comes up "FATAL PROBLEM:
-->Failed to find any Direct3D display mode supported by your display adapter." I have no idea what to do, please help me.

Hello all... can you guys help me out? My buddy and I have this game and we are trying to direct connect. We cant seem to find each other. we figured this is because sierra stopped working the servers... but if we direct connect shouldnt my system host the server? I dont know what to do. If we cant play, then i wasted money even getting this game. how can we fix this?
