So i´ve tried most know solutions to fix this game on my computer compatiblity mode, directX patches or the widescreen patch but nothing seems to work, I mean it won't even launch. Does anybody know a solution?

Same situation here, game doesn't even launch at all.

Tried both with and without the widescreen patch, and both with and without compatibility options.

Windows 10 64 bits.

Edit: Downloading the game with the old GOG Downloader instead of GOG Galaxy seems to have fixed the issue somehow. There seems to be some stuff missing on the GOG Galaxy version of the download.

Glad to hear downloading with the GOG Downloader fixes the issue! These older games, which have no real need for a client (similar to Steam), are better installed with the older downloader, so they get fully installed without missing files. :)

Hello. I bought Emperor from Gog and it wont play. Where would I get the old Gog downloader?

Had the same problem, you can install through Galaxy, but dont run it from it, use the game's .exe directly (right click->manage instalation->show directory if you are not sure where did it install).. Worked for me.

Edit: To answer your original question I don't believe there are gog downloader links anymore, but if you want standalone installer (so you don!t need to use Galaxy if you don't want to) either use web interface, mouse over the game, click the arrow in the left corner -> view offline backup ... or in Galaxy - click the game in your library, go to Extras and and find offline backups there.

Scusate, io ho windows 10 pro e una scheda grafica ottima. Il gioco si avvia ma appena arrivo alla quarta missione dell'addestramenbto il gioco non mi fa più andare avanti. In pratica il commerciante non si ferma più a comprare le risorse e io perdoin quanto nell'addestramento non è ancora presente il governo..vado in rosso e perdo misamente... come posso fare? ho provato a disistallare e re-istallare sia usando gog che senza ma il problema persiste.
