And it's not that I don't know how to do attachments and screenshots, but it sounds like he wants a video and that I don't know how to do.

I'm not asking for a video upload. All I want you to do is upload the save game file from your Saves folder of the mission you are having this issue with, so others can see the problem themselves without guesswork.

This assumes you are actually saving your progress with your cities and not relying on autosaves: if you are just relying on autosaves, that's terrible practice and you should always make regular (manual) saves.

As I said, upload the save game file for this city to the forum. Until you provide a save game file, nobody can really help you, except speculate on possible causes. Helping us allows us to help you, no save game file means we can't help effectively. :/

You are missing the point entirely, maybe you don't understand why I'm asking for a save game file. Nobody is going to give you a walkthrough about how to play the mission, but your not going to get concrete tips/advice if your not going to provide a save game of the mission you are having a problem with.

At this point, all we're doing is speculating about why you have a problem in a mission: if you want a hard and fast solution to the specific problem you are getting, providing a save game is the way. If you don't want a specific solution to your problem, there is no point continuing this thread, all we'd be doing is idly speculating answers with no real outcome. And by doing that, others who read this thread will not find their solution, just speculative suggestions.

I know where the saves are and how to move those files around but I wasn't aware I could put it in here.

Idle speculation can be useful, but it's just that: speculation. In some cases, it may not be useful to speculate on a problem, without a save file, as some problems may not be described clearly, or a problem may be unique. In many cases, visually seeing the issue is better than screenshots or textual descriptions.

@tinyE: You can upload it using the Attach button when writing responses. I know it says "images", but I'm pretty sure you can attach any file here. Just browse to the directory where the saves are and attach them :)

Last I checked there is a size limit and it only allows image type files, e.g. rename the file to end in .png, but otherwise...

Save game files are not that big, way less than the 2MB limit. However it seems you are right that save games can't be uploaded: I guess you can just upload the file somewhere else and link it here.

Also I'm not trying to steal people's saves: I've already played and completed the campaign twice over, the only reason I'm asking for a save is to assist the user.

Well, IIRC, it's 500,000 bytes per file. The 2MB is for the all attachments to the post. Appending .png to the file should work as long as it's not too big and it actually ends in .png.

That was obviously sarcasm or it was meant to be at any rate. You can't steal it. It's a copy that would be uploaded to the forum and tinyE's not that computer illiterate. Besides he likely doesn't want me to laugh at how badly he's been playing the level. No worries though as I haven't bought it yet. (You will have a few days grace at least.)
