I just download the CommunityEmperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom from the GOG website. After I install and launch the game, it shows "the application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). " Can anyone help me out?

Did you install the game correctly? How did you install it: GOG Galaxy or the GOG Downloader? Or did you just download the widescreen patch and try to run it, without even installing the game in the first place?
