Ok - need some help on my fumbling attempts at being an Assassin.


So - it's before declaring as Emperor in 1.51 vanilla and I am trying to knock off the last vile Decados on Byz II.

I produce a whole batch of Dopplegangers and attack the Decados fort.

Trying all 3 different attack methods, I still don't get anywhere.

Is there any hope here of getting to this noble?

Perhaps if I fly in several Relics and stack them with my team?

Anyone been successful against a fully staffed fort?

Answered my own question.

Flew in the most powerful relics from the 4 corners of the Known Worlds, invoked a boat load of Theurgical Rituals upon my face-dancing dopplegangers and then Lo and Behold .... the foul rat's lair of the Decados fell to the Noble and valiant forces of House Hawkwood.

Although some whispered rumors say that Salandra yet languishes in Alexius' personal dungeon far below the city ......

Yep - that makes a lot of sense.

It was simply a puzzle that I was not solving correctly in my initial attempts.

Relics can truly tip the balance when conventional means fail.
