Development on the GOG and Steam versions will continue to parallel each other except where that is impossible (Steam achievements, for instance). In other words, we are working to keep both versions as similar as possible, except where we cannot. The goal is to ensure you can enjoy multiplayer with both versions, the game saves stay compatible, and friends can play a single game with players on either system.
