Bunch of quests questions that aren't obvious... Please keep posting quests related questions in this thread so we end up with most of them in here.

So,

I'll start with:

5) Thief old tricks - What do I need to do/find to open his chest?

8) Budding life - A warning that some fairies are demons - okay, what's the quest? I completed the tree quest, shouldn't that get rid of the demons?

9) Sap - How do I bring sap back to him? I haven't seen buckets or empty flask... I have found several places where there's sap, just can't interact with it...

All these quests resolve themselves pretty much automatically if you explore the whole dungeon.

Thief old tricks - Just find the key in the grotto. It's a pretty hard section so you can't really solve it early.

Budding life - It gets resolved if you complete the whole dungeon.

Sap - I think there is a special sap place you need to find.
