I was interested in playing this game, but had some difficulties getting it to load on Linux. The game would crash as soon as the opening cinematic was supposed to play with the following error:

"Unable to connect pins"

I was able to work around this problem by installing the K-Lite Codec Pack. Both the "Basic" and "Full" variants work. When installing, I selected all default options.
