I was really struggling on ultra difficulty early on in game, but I had no idea how OP companions can be in this game.

So in order to kill enemies easy on ultra difficulty at lvl 1 also, even the ones with skull you have to just complete 1 quest A Half Defective Tin Can [C.R.O.N.Y. U4] :

Repair the U4 unit and follow the quest line, all you have to do is just run and dodge until you complete all quests and equip the weapon system on the U4 unit.

The tests with this companion were really amazing, I thing it might be bugged bec the dmg of the unit is really OP you can defeat any type of enemies early and it dosnt feel to much like a companion it feels more like a weapon or a extension of ur character so is not intrusive like other companions.

Just sharing this idea, I guess will get patched soon its a bit of game breaking to bec you dont need to have any dmg or attributes to defeat enemies now lol, so exploit it as much you can I bet the dmg of this companion will get nerfed on future patches, not that is a problem on gog since you can choose what version you want play.

+The unit gives you time to time some natural elex as a reward bec its ur friend, a very important and rare mineral used to make the potions that adds +2 attributes to character.

EDIT: The unit is op only early on in game, later the dmg decrease for some reason, still useful until you gear ur character.

You can use those potions and some more of that natural elex to make a potion that gives you a skill point as well.
